NEBOSH PSM TRAINING PROGRAM - WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 

This Process Safety Management qualification provides participants with a blend of engineering and management skills. It focuses on the prevention of catastrophic accidents and near misses associated with loss of containment of energy or dangerous substances.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

People who work in process industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics  and many others.

 

Ideal for managers, safety representatives and safety advisors working within the process industries. It is not designed for chemical and process safety engineers experienced in the specification, design and maintenance of process plant. 

 

It is recommended that learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many will have gained another NEBOSH qualification.

EXAMINATIONS

The course assessed by a 90 minute multiple-choice question paper. The question paper consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. 10 of the questions are extended scenario questions which will be randomly distributed throughout the paper. Each question is worth one mark and has one correct and three incorrect responses available. 

The pass standard for the qualification is 60% (24 correct questions out of 40). The results will be issued within 15 working days of sitting the examination.

During your course you will have a chance to practice your exam skills and write a mock exam.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE

Once a student has achieved a pass a qualification parchment will be issued.  This is normally within 20 working days of the confirmation of the successful  result. International certificates are issued by NEBOSH UK. All certificates look alike. The country of study or the mode of study are not shown on a certificate.

There are no pre-requisite requirements for this qualification, but it is recommended that learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many will have gained another NEBOSH qualification.
